EA Gothenburg studio to focus on Frostbite development

EA has invited GDC 2012 attendees to come and check out the recruiting booth for EA Gothenburg, a new studio focused on the DICE-developed Frostbite 2.0 engine.

Based in Gothenburg, Sweden, the new studio will create games using the same engine as Battlefield 3.

The tech has been utilised in multiple EA games - Medal of Honor, Need for Speed: The Run, and the upcoming Command and Conquer: Generals 2.

The new studio is still largely under wraps with prospective employees required to sign an NDA, but the developer is recruiting across all disciplines.
