Rumor – Fable: Heroes announced for XBLA at MS Spring Showcase
NeoGAF has said Fable: Heroes, an Xbox Live Arcade title, was supposedly announced and shown during Microsoft’s Spring 2012 Showcase in San Francisco.
The site claims the information came from the Gamasutra article we referenced this morning – which at post time made zero reference to the title.
That’s all that known at the moment, so consider it a rumor.
AGB has also gone live with what it claims is a logo for the game, which you can see in the post.
If it is indeed a leak, the game will be announced once any embargo put into effect at the event ends.

@1: I know mate, there was once a time I would have let out a little excited squeal for a new Fable… 3 was a step backwards & The Journey just looks ridiculous, wonder what this one’s like. The name Heroes does nothing for me, infact it kinda annoys me, its got molyneux written all over it…

Exactly and i find the whole series incredibly overrated. Fable 2 was at least enjoyable, but three…omfg what a huge dissappointment. Molyneux’s idea’s always sound amazing, but the way they are put in the game is just bad, very very bad.

Seeing how they killed Fable series with Fable 3 and are going to defile its corpse with Fable The Journey, I think this is probably going to be the re-animated zombie / corpse of the franchise.
