Sony poised to make a new announcement at GDC
Ex IGN UK boss Justin Keeling has tweeted that: “SCEE is talking VERY loudly about their GDC announcements” and its plans for E3.
We’ve no idea what the GDC announcement could be, but announcements at E3 are a given, really.
We do know that Quantic Dream’s David Cage will show new tech from the studio during GDC, which will be used in the firms new title being published by Sony.
The tech reveal is part of an hour-long where Cage will also be discussing performance capture, art direction and virtual actors.
This may be the place for his new game reveal, or Sony could be holding off on that until E3.
We’ll just have to wait and see.
GDC is next week.

I just hope is more indigo prophecy than Heavy rain, although i did enjoy heavy rain for the story, i find indigo a better game just for the more traditional gameplay input.

I read somewhere a while back its rumoured to be a sci-fi theme, something like that sam neil film Event Horizon, hopefully not as silly.

Maybe an announcement that PS3 is their last console and it will go on with Vita? Nah…that nonsense from awhile is probably exactly that, nonsense. Looking forward to this news.

It seems that Cage’s new game could be a given for what they might be showing off (though if it’s only just the tech for it, I’d be satisfied either way, though I do wonder if this could be a moment of where a past comment he made during the hype surrounding LA Noire could come back and bite him). One of my hopes is that they announce some of the things that’ve been rumored for awhile now, namingly God of War IV and Syphon Filter 4. As well as talk about what LittleBigPlanet Karting’s all about. Is it a Vita title, PS3 title, or both? I look forward to hearing whatever announcements they make.
