iPad 3 rumors point to 16GB & 32GB models and an 8GB iPad 2

A new report from Taiwanese publication Digitimes claims Apple is to announce two iPad 3 models - a 16GB and 32GB version - during its event in San Francisco next week.

The site fails to mention the popular 64GB model list, which is odd, and it also claims a 8GB version of iPad 2 is in the works.

Furthermore, the outlet has also said production on a smaller, 7.85-inch iPad will begin during the third quarter - a rumor which has been around for quite a while now.

We'll all find out for sure come March 7 when Apple's conference is held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater - next door to the Moscone Center where GDC is held.
