Toshihiro Nagoshi appointed Sega’s new CCO

Yakuza and Binary Domain creator Toshihiro Nagoshi has been appointed as the new chief creative officer of Sega, the company’s announced this morning.

Nagoshi’s new post comes as part of a corporate shuffle, caused by the upcoming retirement of Sega COO Okitane Usui at the end of next month.

Shigeru Yamashita and Yuki Sugino, who were previously mere directors at the company, have now been promoted to senior directors, but will maintain their past roles of general managers of Sega Japan and research & development and production respectively.
