Auditorium sequel to be Kickstarter funded

Cipher Prime has launched a Kickstarter to help fund a sequel to musical puzzle game Auditorium.

Cipher has had success with other titles like Pulse and Fractal, so doesn't need fans to shoulder the full development costs. It's asking for $60,000 for Auditorium 2: Duet, which if achieved will keep the studio going for several months, about half the minimum time the developer estimates it requires to finish the full game. Auditorium first released in flash form before being picke dup by EA for iOS publication, later appearing on console networks and finally as a PC release this week.

The sequel will be developed in Unity as a full PC and Mac release right off the bat, and will even feature multiplayer.

You can drop a few dollars in the hat here, and anything over $15 essentially acts as apre-order for the finished title. other rewards on offer include soundtracks, beta testing, development updates, shirts, and even custom prints or songs.
