Syndicate reviews go live, show alright scores

Reviews for Syndicate went live as of yesterday evening, with scores consisting around the seven region. The game’s out now in the US, with a European release on Friday for PS3, 360 and PC. Get the links below the break. If you have a link to add, you know the drill.

Decent scores all round, I enjoyed the demo so I’ll definitely be picking it up but with the busy release period it probably won’t be day 1 for me.

We now can safely assume this will be the end of Syndicate and Star Breeze. The moment I heard they had lay-offs I knew they’re done for. EA has a pattern, they first lay-off a few then after the game got released and a few months passed and they provided enough patches to patch up their crap, they will announce the company’s closure.

All in all, way to revive an old title, kudos. You guys nailed it, I’m sure it plays just like call of duty or gears of war in many ways, yay for you, yay!

@14 You are right about the pattern but I don’t think EA owns Star Breeze do they? Star Breeze will need to pick up sign up new projects.

And if gaming media wasn’t full of ball-less wimps, you can guarantee most of those scores would be a good 2 or 3 points lower.

@18 It’s clearly a round up of game review scores.

They always do it.

I think that it’s useful to have the links in one place and to get a bigger picture of how good a game is/isn’t. Sometimes you’ll see a decent review from a site you’ve not heard of.

Good scores, given the amount of undeserved hate and grief the game received by the so called “veterans”, most of whom never even tried to play it and see with their eyes how it is.

@14 you, good sir, are either an idiot, a troll or someone that doesn’t know what means working under a contract because he never worked a single day in his life yet.
These people were hired just for the game and have been let go after the game is shipped, there’s no EA conjure behind it.

@24 When has that ever mattered? Call of Duty hasn’t ever dropped below the mid 80′s. That minority is about as hateful and loud as you’re likely to get.

@25 Okay, I suck.

BUT YOU KNOW IT MEANS SOMETHING.

And even if that wasn’t good enough… Eurogamer gave it a 7!!! On the Eurogamer scale, that’s basically a 2/10.
