Persona 4: The Golden launching on June 14 in Japan

Importing time for moi. Famitsu’s confirmed in this week’s issue Persona 4: The Golden will launch in Japan on June 14.

The news comes via Andriasang. The game will set you back ¥7,000.

Atlus and Famitsu publisher Enterbrain have also teamed up to provide a special bundle, where you’ll be able to pick up a ‘Famitsu DX Pack’, featuring a pouch, ten postcards and six A3 posters featuring illustrations from Shigenori Soejima, Shuji Sogabe, Mad House, Studio Hibari and Hiroyuki Maeda.

The magazine also reveals the game will feature a gardening component, where you’ll be able to plant and raise what you’ve grown.

The Golden news follows confirmation last night that Atlus is set to bring Persona 4: Arena to the US for PS3 and 360 this summer.

Importing a Japanese copy seems kinda pointless seeing as the amazing writing will be, you know, in Japanese. Plus Atlus USA are pretty amazing at translations.

Can’t wait that long. Hence the importing. I’ll double-dip the western release though, be it in the US or Europe that goes first (in all likelihood, US).

Plus, I imported FFXIII from Japan without having a clue on the language.
