Tokyo Jungle dated for June 7 in Japan

SCEJ’s announced via this week’s Dengeki PlayStation it’ll release under-the-radar title Tokyo Jungle on PSN on June 7 in Japan.

The game, which hasn’t been seen since last year, has gone under a radical reinvention in that it’s now a proper 3D experience instead of the 2D style it was previously known for.

According to Andriasang, the magazine potentially suggests it looks a lot different than what was shown at Tokyo Game Show in September, adding other action game designers at SCE could be helping out on the project.

There’s a video to remind you of the concept of the game below.

I want this so much.

It looks like another escapee from the PS2 era which is only ever a good thing to me. I hope we see more and more of this kind of bonkers as the generation ages. Its something thats been serverly lacking, that kind of Katamari/Michigan/Haunting Ground levels of mental.
