Xenoblade Chronicles trailer pumps up US release

Nintendo’s released a new US-based trailer for Xenoblade Chronicles ahead of the RPG’s release in the country in April. The video shows a meaty chunk of gameplay and menus, which is about it. Still, if you’re looking for The Last Story and Pandora’s Tower to be released stateside, you may want to buy this. Get the video below the break, via Joystiq.

It manages to look better than FF simply by good design and more coherence.

On the contrary, it looks a lot more common than FF. FF is more stylized than that. Well, not all FF games. Xenoblade looks a bit like XII, which is indeed a good thing.

Yes, it looks “more common”, but it doesn’t look as much like a J-Pop travesty but actually kind of like an honest fantasy story. Also this trailer is not as good as some of the older ones (of course, since it’s for the US) and I’m mainly speaking of the whole world design and “believable” atmosphere. FF has turned into a joke.

Idk, still looks awefull JPNS to me. Reminds me of a PSU game. That in and of itself isn’t a bad thing, but no way this is on the same level as something like ElderScroll games, interest or saleswise, lest in NA.

I like the Saints Row IIIrd mode in the game though. ;-)
