Microsoft trademarks Avatar Famestar
Microsoft’s trademarked something known as Avatar Famestar, according to Joystiq. The trademark was filed on February 13 – last Monday for those keeping score – for services related to “downloadable software for video game services.” So Xbox, then. Only question is what kind of fame? Are we talking Lady Gaga fame? Big Brother fame? Fame fame? My head’s hurting at all the fame possibilities.

If you win it, Big Brother fame has got to be amazing, as after two days, no-one knows who the hell you are or remembers you, and you make off with £50,000.

If it’s for Kinect (duh, it will be) then I wonder how fanboy debates will be when Sony releases their very own version of Kinect and people debate which has better finger recognition
