Far Cry 3 gameplay shows hallucinations, shooting
A video for Far Cry 3 has popped up on YouTube, and it shows around 6 minutes of gameplay on Xbox 360. In it, you’ll see a fella get stabbed from behind with his own knife; some running and gunning; the tossing of grenades; explosions; and some nice, drug-induced hallucinations. Watch it below. Game’s out in September on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Thanks, RPS.

If that’s really Xbox 360 gameplay, that’s damn good looking. It really could be 360, look at the rather low-res shadows, now i’m not a PC pro or whatever, but i doubt you’d see that on a high end PC.

Huh, that actually looks a lot better in terms of the gameplay.
I’m glad they changed the ironsights for the AK47. It looked like a SAW in the last footage. That game likes its picatinny rails.

Music at the end (during the escape from sinking ship) was really nice and actually made the whole scene feel more awesome than it should. They could have used general “action” music and it would have been like similar well made but soulless scenes from Uncharted 3 or Modern Warfare 1.
LOVED that part along with the insane doctor. The rest well made but nothing really special. Still, this still looks miles better than FarCry 2.

Wow…looks incredible. The freedom and variety seems massive. Love the bit at 1:30 where he just jumps off the boat to plan a new course of action.
@4 yeah the music makes that moment so much more epic.

looks ok but me personally, id love a game similar to this but you can choose how you go about missions, example: i can go find a helicopter/tank somewhere on the island and blow the hell out everyone, or i can just go in guns blazing, snipe from a distance where im not found straight away esp if they were not around to see the guy get shot, or i can go in hitman style if i kill a guy, hide the body or do it out of site/sound, they will not find me straight away. Also dont like the look of the drug crap, far cry 2 was poor with taking a pill every so often.

There is no disease in this game. Also you can do all that except the helicopter stuff we will have to wait til next gen to even come up with that.

As was expected, that version is pasable, but doesn’t have tesselations and x11, so for demos is good, but the PC version is goona to be far away xD from this low graphics for shitty 360′s, who know maybe the ps3 is superior as well.
