Nintendo downloads, February 16 – MGS Snake Eater demo, Strider
Nintendo has updated its eShop, DSiWare and Virtual Console offerings, and along with the previously reported availability of Hulu Plus, there’s also the highly-anticipated demo of Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D available on 3DS this week. Also, SEGA Genesis fans might want to check out Strider through Wii’s Virtual Console today too, and the first Ambassador game for North America hits today with the release of Super Mario Bros. NES. From what I understand the demo fairly out of date so hopefully alot of the frame rate problems I had will be dealt with.
Works really well with the Circle Pad and its added a bunch of things from Peace Walker. The 3D is nice but its not as noticable as it is in Resi. Not that the HD Collection is coming to Vita its kinda lost its main selling point as a full Metal Gear on the move.
I honestly don’t know why they never considered re-building The Twin Snakes, add in some CQC and a few of the other ideas from the later games and it would be great, I know alot of people never got a chance to play Twin Snakes because of its original platform.

I agree. Frame rate is quite low. I was expecting this to be fixed. I was in between buying the HD collection on PS3 and this… and now, I’m not so sure which one should I get.

Awesome. Trying to download demo at school, not working atm. Can’t wait for Dillon’s Rolling Western to come out next week on the eShop
