Double Fine Adventure to have voice acting, multiple languages

Double Fine has made its first Kickstarter update, revealing platforms, languages and other exciting plans for its untitled Adventure.

The adventure game will be made available for Linux, Mac and PC, as well as Android and iOS in mobile form.

The extra funds raised by the Kickstarter has allowed Double Fine to expand the scope of the game to include voice acting in the English version, with other extra features to be announced later.

It has also allowed Double Fine to cement in four non-English text translations - French, Italian, German and Spanish.

There will be a closed beta at each stage of the game's development, for Kickstarter backers only, and at a later date, a DRM-free version will be provided - again, for backers only.

Althought you have read the information, watch Tim Schafer present it in video format below, through a late night haze.

Double Fine's Kickstarter raised its initial target of $400,000 in under eight hours, and had scored $1 million within 24 hours.
