Report - Twisted Metal film sealed with multi-million dollar deal

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance co-director Brian Taylor has reportedly signed onto a live-action Twisted Metal film as his first solo production.

Deadline reports Sony Pictures will pony up a seven-digit amount to seal Taylor's involvement in the project.

Spider-Man producer Avi Arad is also said to be on board.

Details are slim, but Sweet Tooth and Doll Face were both mentioned as likely to feature.

Twisted Metal release for PlayStation 3 in the US today, and arrives in Europe and associated territories on March 7. Sony promoted the reboot with a collection of live-action shorts giving the back story of some of the franchise's iconic combatants.
