Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion looks pretty shiny

The first footage of stand-alone Sins of a Solar Empire expansion, Rebellion, glistens temptingly through the break.

Ironclad has done some serious graphical polishing for the upcoming release; check it out below, courtesy of IGN. The trailer’s a bit short on details, but you can get more information here.

No release date has been set for Rebellion, but Ironclad promises it will be out this year, and offers a $10 discount on pre-orders.
