Dead Island dev releasing Mad Riders this spring

Ubisoft announced today that stunt-racer Mad Riders, created by Dead Island developer Techland, is coming to XBLA, PSN and PC this spring.

The game see players performing aerial stunts and racing on over 45 tracks from all over the world.

"To gain the edge on the competition, players will need to use their boost skill wisely and take advantage of shortcuts hidden in the tracks," the press release said.

It will also have an online component. “Competitive features” and leaderboards are promised, as is a drop-in system. Three different multiplayer modes for up to 12 players will be included.

Techland has tried off-road racing before with Nail'd, which received mediocre scores.
