ME3: Femshep trailer goes into action fit

EA, as promised, has released the Femshep-specific story trailer for Mass Effect 3. This is properly OTT with action, as well as glimpses of cameos from some well-know locations and characters. Get it after the break, but be warned: it might be pretty spoilerific for some people.

The BioWare RPG launches on March 6 in the US and March 9 in the UK for PS3, 360 and PC.

Good. Now they just need to give us some decent screens of her instead of the concept art that’s been around for ages.

I’m really hoping that the geth get an important place in this. They’ve always been the most intriguing aspect of the Mass Effect Universe, if not the most original. 2 gave them depth that they really deserve to build on. It went places that Bioware usually doesn’t with their storytelling.

Plus it lampshades the “GENERIC, EBIL MASHEENZ!” thing with the Reapers if they have a strong force of geth on their side. And I got sick of that particular concept ten minutes into the original Mass Effect. The plot twisty approach to the geth in 2 was probably the best thing that they could have done.

Yeah, I like the geth. Xenophile – I know it’s not a popular or well understood notion. Most people tend to veer towards xenophobia in regards to foreign cultures, let alone anything else.

@2 – That’s probably for the best, all things considered.

Care, played the original Shepard since ME and sticking with him all the way. I seriously dont get people who complain about “we dont play male shepard, give us the perfect women we can all agree is fit for the job!” Why not just hold a “Miss Mass Effect 3″ contest while we are at it?

^ um, they have a character creation option, so you’ll be able to create your dream girl sweety
