Kojima teases MGS HD Collection for Vita
Hideo Kojima’s taken to Twitter this morning to tease the Vita version of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. He posted two pics that highlight both MGS2 and MGS3. Kojima took the photos whilst recording new, Vita-specific dialogue for MGS3.
No date yet for the portable collection, announced at TGS last year. Thanks, Andriasang.

The idea of having Metal Gear Solid 2 in my pocket ten years ago would have blown my tiny mind. Looking forward to getting my Transfarring on.

I look forward to 400 hours of really slow messages while I fiddle with someone’s green head.

“Kojima took the photos whilst recording new, Vita-specific dialogue for MGS3.”
Wait, what!? What does that mean? New content / dialogue for MGS3!? Changed interactions!? This could either be really really good or really really bad. Also, if this is true then this would be DEFINITIVE version of handheld MGS (In your face 3DS MGS3d!).

It’s for controls. Don’t get too excited.

I wonder if they’ll put back in the dream mini-game and Snake vs. Monkey that were removed from the console versions.

I wonder if Kojima will make something new for the Vita.
MGS HD for the Vita is good, but it’s a port. I can’t justify a system for ports. I have PS3 for these things.
