Krater teaser promises dungeon delving beta soon

A tactical dungeon crawler with an emphasis on crafting? Yes pwease. Check out the brief teaser for indie effort Krater through the break.

From Swedish developer Fatshark, the team behind Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West, Krater has a number of interesting-sounding mechanics, including character persistance which extends to injuries. Consequences? Now we're ticking some cool boxes.

There seems to be a great deal of variety packed in, with parties of three; four classes and a "multitude" of specialisations; craft-able abilities, weapons and items; and seamless single-player and multiplayer.

The designers name drop X-com and Syndicate, and have outlined a robustly conceptualised world and plot. Krater is expected to go into beta this month; you can sign up on its website.

Thanks, Edo!
