Battlefield 3 DLC announce expected next week

During the publisher's quarterly financial report, EA's Peter Ausnit said new DLC for Battlefield 3 would be detailed at a New York event next week. Battlefield 3 released in October 2011 and is yet to receive any DLC beyond pre-order and special edition content, some of which was later unlocked for all players following a timed exclusive. EA claims the shooter now holds 24% of its genre market.
