February PS Plus Update – The Simpsons Arcade, House of the Dead 3 demo, GTA IV
Sony has posted a preview of the PS Plus update for February, and one of the most notable mentions for both US and the European users is the release of The Simpson’s Arcade finally.

As promised last week, Final Fantasy V is also available free for Plus members, as are discounts on Rayman: Origins, Splinter Cell, and SEGA Megadrive games.
There’s also a House of the Dead 3 demo coming, and on the US end, full game trials of GTA IV, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Tom Clancy’S H.A.W.X 2, and Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

How much is Rayman Origins normally? (I assume a nastily high RRP like £50-£55).

@Stephany
. Will wait and get it for Vita I think. Seems like a nice fit for a handheld.
Ah thanks

I will NOT be renewing my PS+ sub when it expires, I really see no benefit.

Theres no point in having an EU Plus subscription. Its truely depressing the state of the left overs that we are asked to pay the same fee for.
Why is Qore locked to America? Where are out stupid black and white cats telling us the news?

The Simpsons Arcade Game, free at launch?? nice.
Far Cry 2 full game free? wow
Final Fantasy V free too.
A lot of discounts check!
I think that the benefits are really good for what you pay.
Compare that to what Xbox users pay for the gold subscription, and what they get..

Qore? Europe has Access which is the same thing.
PS+ is pretty decent value for money. Auto downloads and cloud saves being the biggest thing it offers.

I kind of like plus, more then ms gives you. But tbh, plus is more then I need to spend. Free games are nice, but being stuck with what they pick is not. Discounts are great too, but if I don’t have a need for DLC/addons or avatar gear its kind of weak.
Would be nice to just offer 20% or 30% off of one or two purchases each month for plus members. You pick were to apply it. Maybe even allow you a free down load 15usd value(price of reg whole arcade/psn style game) once a month if you have used your discount vouchers.
So, in other words: let us make a %off purchase or two, and if we do that and as reward let us then pick a download. Gets products moving.
Because as it is, plus is just cash I don’t need to spend in the first place.
