Origin signs up 11 new third-parties

Origin has opened the doors to a swathe of third-party content providers, kicking things off with Trion Worlds' Rift.

Rift is available even now on the digital distribution service, 1UP reports.

Other new members of Origin's team include both indie developers and publishers. Major European distributors 1C and CD Projekt have signed up - the latter proving quite interesting, as it has a strong antri-DRM stance - along with publisher Paradox Interactive.

Orcs Must Die! developer Robot Entertainment; Freebird Games of To The Moon fame; Choplifter and Hunted developer inXile; Recoil Games, Autumn Games, Core Learning Games, and N3V Games have also all signed on the dotted line.

Origin is already home to games from a number of third parties, most notably THQ and Capcom.
