Back-up: Steam opens beta testing on Skyrim 1.4 patch

Brave Dragonborn can set out on the most daring adventure of their lifetimes, by beta testing the latest patch for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on Steam. As the Bethesda blog notes, it's best to back up your saves before you give it a go, because in a game this size, something is almost certainly going to go horribly, horribly wrong. Assuming you're not too attached to the last hundred hours you spent on the game, you can opt into the beta in the Account section of your Steam settings. You can check the preliminary patch notes here.
