Square trademark for Sleeping Dogs leads to Kane & Lynch 3 speculation

NeoGAF has dug up another Square Enix trademark, this one for something called Sleeping Dogs, leading some to speculate it’s a subtitle for Kane & Lynch 3 due to the subtitle of the last outing, Dog Days. A job posting from IO Interactive back in September 2011 suggested that a third Kane & Lynch was in the works, and Ian Livingstone himself said in December 2010 the duo weren’t going away any time soon. You can view the trademark filing here, which lists a January 13 date.

between this, the rumored Dragon Quest 7/Final Fantasy 7 remakes, and the recently discovered Final Fantasy Dimensions for 3DS, square is going to be awfully busy in 2012.

Heart of the Swarm is also rumored to be released this year, since Blizz said last year that if we didn’t see a release from them that year we would see two this year. So it is even busier x)

Because maybe third time the charm, who knows maybe this game will rock, seeing the improvements the second part did had compare to the first game.
