So the Resi demo is actually pretty class, can’t say im all that impressed with the enemies to be honest and the controls work so well that I can’t see how the circle pad add-on is going to make them better. Well aside from making the 3DS more comfy to hold for extended periods.

The ability to move while aiming is actually quite a subtle change to how the game itself plays, being able to back away while still laying down fire is handy but it also has a habit of making you back up into walls and corners. Im pretty sure its going to be a headphones as standard job because alot of the ambient SFX was being lost, the pistol and shotgun shots were coming out tinny and pathetic aswell.

The scanning has a habit of making you just scratch your head, really scanning a table to uncover some hidden bullets is silly, the bullets are under a dish. So they were always under that dish only Jill needs the little computer to tell her they are there before she can pick them up. Theres a lack of information when scanning any of the monsters aswell, its really not Samus’ visor anyway.

Over all im pretty impressed with the level of ambience the 3DS managed to kick out, smoke and water actually look pretty impressive. Although the large dining room filled with fog kinda killed the framerate. The 3D itself made next to no real impression so it might just be better to play it with 3D turned off to stabilise the framerate, like DoA and SF4.
