Rockstar staying mum on next-gen job listing
Following a posting on its website discovered late last night mentioning it was hiring for “next-gen consoles,” Rockstar’s refused to comment.

The call, put out on the company’s website, is hiring for environment artists at its flagship North studio in Edinburgh.
Rockstar North is currently working on Grand Theft Auto V and the supposedly PS3-exclusive Agent.
“You will be designing, building and texturing the world, have the technical knowledge to achieve great looking results and the skill to get the most from next-gen consoles,” reads the listing.
Ever the illusive, Rockstar told VG247 on the phone this morning that it doesn’t “comment on rumour or speculation.”

the jobs for new projects are still listed as “next-gen-console”. So no need for speculation now I think…

Alan wake 2, saints row 4 and some other games have already been confirmed to be in production for next gen consoles so hearing another games company working on nextgen games is not a surprise esp when bigger games take an average of 2yrs to make.
