CheapyD DLC drops next week for Saints Row: The Third

Cheap Ass Gamer has announced the CheapyD Homie DLC will be available for download in Saints Row: The Third for free on all platforms, starting January 17.

After downloading the DLC, players will be able to call the character using their in-game cell phones, who will do a few “errands” for the players. You can apparently set the dude on fire as well.

“Even if I bought my way in, it’s still an incredible honor for me to be included in this outstanding video game,” said CheapyD. “Working with the Volition guys has been awesome and I really hope I have the opportunity to do so again.”

In order to acquire the character, here is what you’ll need to do:

  • Unlock Shaundi’s Ex-boyfriend’s apartment (after the assault on the armory).
  • Xbox 360 – Download the Genkibowl VII Viewer Pack (free) or purchase the Genkibowl VII DLC Pack (560 MSP) to receive your CheapyD Homie.
  • PS3 – Download the CheapyD Pack (free) on PSN
  • Steam – January 17, the Genkibowl VII DLC + CheapyD compatibility patch will be automatically downloaded.
