Vita Table Football demo’d at CES

What the Sony teams have done with the Vita’s AR capabilities is pretty astonishing – check out Table Football in action through the break.

It’s a little hard to see what’s going on, but this video, taken backstage at CES by the US PS Blog, discusses the Vita’s “wider area AR”, which allows you to place a number of AR cards and adjust the size of your play area to suit your furniture.

The game featured in the video, Table Football (Table Soccer, US denizens) will be one of the free apps built into the Vita at western launch on February 22.

WTF is that dude(?) wearing at 2:30.

On topic, not seeing how this would be dynamic. Looks slow and painful to play. Idea=/=fun

@1
That’s kind of how table football is played – it’s a tactical turn based game. It’s free anyway.

You guys must be right, I do not know this table football you speak off. Seems more apt to play pool. Wasn’t thinking fussball but rather a table top football game with more than one moving player.
