Anomaly: Warzone earth tops Qi's 2011 iPhone games list

Review aggregator QualityIndex has listed the Xbox Live Arcade-bound Anomaly: Warzone Earth as the best iPhone game of 2011.

Anomaly: Warzone Earth is a real-time tower defence game released on PC and Mac in April 2011, which made the jump to iOS in August. An Xbox Live Arcade release is slated for northern spring.

Like Metacritic, QualityIndex draws review scores from a select list of online publications, and then applies a weighted formula to arrive at an aggregate score out of ten.

Some well-respected titles made the list, including World of Goo, Sword and Sworcery and Infinity Blade II.
