Black Ops 2 domain back in Activision’s grasp

Fusible reports the domain registration companied used by Activision Blizzard has acquire blackops2.com, the only missing entry from a spate of registrations right up to Modern Warfare 6 and Black Ops 6. Regardless of whether Treyarch has a sequel in the works for the 2010 smash hit Call of Duty: Black Ops, it makes sense for Activision to keep hold of the domains to protect its brands, so don’t get too excited – yet.

Thanks, gamesradar.

“WHEN WILL THE MADNESS END!?”

… only when sales go down and it doesn´t look like it…i love shooters and i can see why people like cod, but they really do not handle this franchise with care.
i recently played the mp part of mw3 and i couldn´t believe how bad that experience was. it looked rushed, lazy and unfinished, from menues, textures to mapdesign. everything. unbelieveable that people are buying it and even give it praise. what that does is telling developers and publisher that they are getting away with their lazyness. it saves money too – which makes money, so they will do it again like that….in the end the gaming experience gets worse and worse and this is what we see happening with cod.
that said: i kinda enjoyed blops. wasn´t an outstanding game but not too shabby for a cod. i liked that they at least tried something different with wager matches and customizable gamer cards (loved that).
i´m not surethough if i will ever buy another cod again. really looks like all the milking even reached an entirely new level. abuse…

“don’t get too excited – yet.”

With all due respect Brenna, why on earth would we get excited about yet another Call of Duty game, much less one developed by Treyarch?

@8, correct sir.

the worst part of it are maps.

Thats what you get when your game is in development by 3 TEAMS… THREE freakin teams.

and the hillarious part is that maps were developed by Raven software. These guys developed some really great experiences in the past.
