Square Enix Europe trademarks “Hitman: Profession”
Square Enix Europe has trademared something known as “Hitman: Profession,” immediately triggering speculation this is the name of the project in development at its newly-founded Montreal studio.

The trademark, spotted by Siliconera, was registered on December 22 last year.
Square has Hitman: Absolution from IO Interactive due at some point this year for PS3, 360 and PC, but announced in November the introduction of Square Enix Montreal alongside Deus Ex studio Eidos Montreal.
The first project from SEM was confirmed to be a Hitman title, although no additional details were given at the time. Eurogamer rumoured at the time that the project was aiming for next-gen consoles.

Could just be a substantial piece of DLC? Tough to call at this point…

Game or DLC, what’s far more important is the name itself, I personally think it’s absolute rubbish, profession?? seriously, what’s next? Tomb Raider: Hobby?

Sounds like an MMO or online portal affair to me. Each player has an avatar and takes missions….. Maybe in competition with others? That sounds quite promising to me tbh.

You are forgetting about Codename 47, the one that started it all.
