Atlus: "That title you’ve been waiting for" could be announced in 2012

Atlus has seemingly suggested it'll finally lift the wrap off Persona 5 at some point this year.

The publisher said in last week's Famitsu (via Siliconera): "That title you’ve been waiting for may be announced."

The internet's assuming Persona 5 is the game, known to be in development for a while, but not shown as yet.

Before P5's development ramped up last year, Team Persona launched love thriller Catherine in Japan and the US for PS3 and 360. It'll release in Europe next month.

Besides Catherine, Atlus has also been working on PSP re-releases of the Persona franchise, from its first installment to Persona 3.

This year has been dubbed by fans as the 'Year of Persona 4,' with Atlus set to launch a Vita revamp in spring in Japan, while Arc System Works develops a Persona 4-themed fighter, The Ultimate, for a summer Japanese release on PS3 and 360.
