Thieves pocket-dial police after video game heist
Thieves who made off with a load of DVDs and video games last week reportedly accidentally dialed 911 in their car on the way back from the heist. The bumbling thieves never noticed the phone was on and chattered away for an hour before arriving at their destination.
Before they arrived at their destination they somehow managed to give police a description of their vehicle, talk about all the things they had stolen, and even the exact location they planned to sell their boosted merch. When they arrived at the location police were already waiting for them.

Square Enix releases bizarre Bravely Default trailer
We weren’t even going to post this odd, soundless trailer for the upcoming 3DS RPG Bravely Default. But honestly, the fact that this is a near blank, mute trailer makes this somehow more compelling than if they’d released the type of trailer we’re used to seeing for handheld Japanese RPGs. We’re not sure what they were thinking when they did this but…here it is. More »

Champions Online reveals new character type, definitely not a Sith
Bummed that you’re not able to play Star Wars: The Old Republic at launch? Well, Champions Online developer Cryptic Studios has a bit of a treat for you. The company launched a new character archetype (re: class) that bears more than a passing resemblance to a Sith lord.
The character wields what are essentially two red lightsabers, and is clothed in a dark hood and cape. Could it possibly just be a coincidence that this is coming out a day before the official launch of SWTOR? No, not really. Picture after the break. More »
