The Darkness II clips show off Vendettas characters
2K’s released small teasers of three characters that will form part of The Darkness II’s Vendettas mode. The videos (via Evil Avatar), which feature Jimmy, Shoshanna and Inugami, give a brief look at the game’s recently-announced co-op mode. I got to try the Digital Extremes’ shooter a while back in London, and it’s looking pretty sharp. Look for more on that later this week.
The Darkness II launches on February 7 in the UK for PS3, 360 and PC.

Alan Wake’s American Nightmare: Remedy shows off, commentates Fight Till Dawn mode
IGN‘s gone live with a 11 minute video showing Fight Till Dawn mode from Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, showing off the game’s co-op challenge mode Fight Till Dawn. Remedy CEO Matias Myllyrinne describes the mode in great detail, showing the various enemies and weapons you’ll come across, as well as some tension-packed moments. Get the video below the break.

Dual Shock support added to Sony Tablet S
Engadget reports the latest Japanese firmware update for Sony’s Tablet S added support for the PlayStation 3′s Dual Shock controllers. The controller apparently works wirelessly after initial, wired ste up and works with PlayStation Suite certified titles. Japanese gamers have been provided with a free game to celebrate the addition. The Tablet P has not been so fortunate. If your streaming-games-service-sense are tingling, you’re not alone. That’s the smell of the future, that is.

Unannounced Ubisoft titles outed by AU classifications
When it’s not refusing classification to anticipated titles, the Australian Classification Board delights in leaking like a sieve. Its latest effort has outed two new Ubisoft games, Prince of Persia for Wii and 3DS, and Rayman for 3DS. Joystiq theorises that the listings pertain to Virtual Console releases, hence the simple, days-of-yore titles, which match Game Boy Color releases.

Zynga stock continues to drop
Business Insider reports investors are proving leery of Zynga stock, following the social publisher’s initial public offering last Friday. On the morning of its second day of trading, the stock had dropped 4% from its IPO price to $9.10, and closed at $9.05, almost 10% down. Bloomberg‘s Paul Kedrosky cited both poor market conditions and Zynga’s weak fundamentals for a prediction that the stock will drop to around $6 within the coming 12 months. Zynga’s IPO raised $1 billion, giving it the largest tech IPO since Google’s in 2004, but its first day of trading saw massive fluctuations.

Heavy Rain Move Edition still missing extra content
A Destructoid report puts the spotlight back on an ongoing issue: Some buyers have found that the Platinum Move Edition of Heavy Rain is missing the exclusive content advertised on the box. Affected copies of the game, which are still appearing in the wild, do not display the extra content on the PlayStation 3′s XMB. To get the disc replaced with a full version, purchasers have to ship the game to Sony, footing the bill themselves.
