Just Dance 3 moves 700,000 units in the US during Black Friday week
Ubisoft has announced Just Dance 3 sold over 700,000 units on Wii and Xbox 360 combined in the US from November 20-26, which was Black Friday week. The Wii version of the game is up 48% yoy compared to Just Dance 2 in the US. Tony Key, Ubisoft’s sales and marketing SVP, said: “Last week was an excellent start to the holiday shopping season for Ubisoft’s dance games. The popularity of Ubisoft’s dance games continues to gain momentum as these games appeal to a wide variety of consumers because they are fun to play alone or with friends and family.”
Just Dance 3 was released on Wii and Xbox 360 in October. The PS3 version releases next week in the US and UK. Thanks, Gamasutra.

Rock out to these new Army Corps of Hell trailers
To go along with the nice batch of screens released earlier this week, Square has released four new trailers of the game in action. Each one features some heavy power and prog-metal as well. Don’t trash too hard, now. You might hurt yourself. The Vita title will be released around the system’s launch, will contain four-player co-op , and can support up to 200 goblins on screen at once. Bungie’s first sci-fi trilogy released for free
A free, open-source version of Halo developer Bungie’s classic Marathon trilogy has been released online. Available for Linux, Mac and PC, the pack contains an updated version of the engine, a fan remake of the first Marathon, and lovingly HD remastered versions of Marathon 2 and Marathon Infinity. The new versions sport modern features like online multiplayer including co-op; control pad support; and OpenGL shader functionality. You can grab the pack here. The Marathon series of shooters kicked off in 1994 and wrapped up in 1996, predating Halo by five years.
