Oddworld: Strangers Wrath HD reviews go live

Scores for the HD remake of Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath have gone live. The scores for the Just Add Water redeux are seemingly positive so far, with the GMA-winning Christian Donlan giving it a nine for Eurogamer previously. Get all the latest scores below the break. God damn! I’d love to get this game.

But i’m at work right now. :/ Can’t get to my PS3 till Sunday.

This game really deserve the great scores, iam tempted to buy it again if i was not short on the money side i wouldnt be so hesitant, this game is great i cannot recommend it enough, even if it is a 2005 game it is a great 2005 game, on the top 3 list of the xbox games for sure sorry otogi and ninja gaiden

I’m not really up to date about the whole thing. Are we going to get the HD version for PC too?

You really should. It’s still extremely creative and unique six years on.

A patch is coming out to update the current PC version to this HD remake. Not sure when that’s being released, though.

@5: That’s the thing. I bought the oddboxx on steam, but playing the game was not fun on PC. The controls were pretty bad and it felt like a bad port in general.

I wish Lorne Lanning would have never got out of the games business, Oddworld games were always so unique and fun. Stranger’s Wrath was one of my favorite Xbox games, I hope that it eventually comes to Xbox 360 or at least PC. Oddworld games always have a great story.
