Death Rally sees 1.5 million downloads, says Remedy

Remedy head of franchise development Oskari Hakkinen has said iOS title Death Rally has seen 1.5 million units since it first launched earlier this year. In an interview with Edge on Alan Wake's American Nightmare, writer Sam Lake said the game, which was the developer's first ever game 15 years ago, was its "first step into that direction, and I’m sure that we’ll do something else in the future as well."

The company's currently developing Alan Wake's American Nightmare for XBLA and self-publishing the PC version of the original Wake, both due in Q1 2012.
