Battlefield 3 makes Google’s 2011 Zeitgeist report
Battlefield 3 took fifth position in Google’s annual top ten list of fastest-rising search queries, joining the likes of Steve Jobs, Google+, the iPad 2 and Rebecca Black as the year’s hottest topics.

Battlefield 3 was the only game to make the top ten in the Google Zeitgeist 2011 report.
Despite its high-ranking position in the rising queries charts, DICE’s shooter came seventh on a list of top gaming search terms in the US – while Blacks Ops took first place, and Call of Duty, second.
Unfortunately, the report doesn’t give a global overview of gaming-related search term results, or gaming-related lists for other territories, but below you’ll find in full two top ten lists for the US, the first for games in general and another for online games.
