Kojima teases Project Ogre, posts screens on Twitter

Hideo Kojima, ever the teasing master he is, has posted two shots showing off the new Fox Engine, one of which is from a prototype of his next game, codenamed Project Ogre.

The first image shows a soldier crouching beside an NPC tank in what appears to be a Middle Eastern location. Maybe.

The second, weirdly, shows two females. Kojima said in a tweet that one of the advantages of Fox was “See-thru underwear.” Kojima in closet perv shocker.

Kojima debuted Fox Engine at E3 in June as part of Konami’s E3 showcase, as well as showing off part of what appeared to be a prototype from Ogre.

The Metal Gear boss earlier this week mentioned potential plans for MGS5, featuring The Boss and her Cobra unit, as well as re-unveiling Metal Gear Rising under the development of Platinum Games.

Get the shots below. Thanks, Andriasang.

That fox engine is not really that impressive, maybe it’s really easy for development, but i’m sure that most of the folks prefer western engines like Unreal Engine 3 and etc.

This is metal gear solid 5. Look at the first screen shot. That’s The Boss. Kojima gave himself away during that recent interview.
This is the Metal Gear Solid he was talking about where you will be playing as The Big Boss along side the Cobras.

Timeline is off…So maybe not…damn…..wishfull thinking

If MGS then Insta-buy, If not then why no MGS?!

Nah if its a new IP or something it could be cool. But I want another shot of MGS now that Rising looks somewhat disappointing.

@4: It is the Boss. She has been kept alive via Nano-Machines.

Maybe it has larger environment? in that case I can accept the visual unimpressiveness of it. I always had this fascination of being a sneaky badass sort in a large, very large environment which everything happens real-time and if I make a mistake the entire era goes in alert and tries to catch me.

@9: there is no video of anyone playing this game. It’s not an actual game yet. If you are talking about the screen where a developer plays rising using an xbox360 gamepad. That’s because of testing on the PC, where an Xbox360 controller is supported better. The PS3 is still the lead platform of Platinum games, as it was for Vanquish. But anyway that’s doesn’t have anything to do with this ogre project. I’m pretty curious, if this will become a classic Metal Gear Solid game.
