Anarchy Reigns gets delayed, locked July release instead

Sega's delayed Anarchy Reigns, pushing it from a initial January launch and giving it locked dates in July.

The Platinum brawler will now release on July 3, 2012 in the US, July 5 in Australia and July 6 in Europe.

"Anarchy Reigns brings a new take to the brawler genre and we’ve decided to take a little more time to deliver the full knockout punch," said Sega SVP of marketing Gary Knight.

"I can’t reveal much now, but it’s something to do with scale. Let’s just say traditional one on one or two versus two fighters will be a thing of the past…"

Anarchy, while never givem a full locked date, was down for January after Sega announced an original delay from fall this year.
