Debut trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man swings into the VGAs
Activision released the debut trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man during the VGAs this evening. The video showed rouge Oscorp robots taking over NYC in a very destructive manner, and Spider-Man fighting the metal maniacs as best he can before a massive worm-robot enters the scene. All was shown as though it was being broadcast on the local news, giving the player a third-person perspective on he situation. The Amazing Spider-Man is slated for a summer 2012 launch alongside the film of the same name, and is currently in development at Beenox Studios.

@1 A game launched alongside the movie with the same name, and with the same characters and similar plotline, that’s a big fail. Oh, it’s the case here? Oh, well…

Well the open world look is promising.
It does look like it will be rather QTE-licious.
