Spacetime Studios says its titles are the first cross-platform MMOs on the market

Spacetime Studios has said it's the first studio to release MMOs that are playable across PC, smart phones and tablets.

According to the firm, its Pocket Legends and Star Legends MMOs can be played simultaneously across all three systems. Furthermore, the titles are placed on a global server, which allows players "in the US to play on their iPhone with someone in Germany on their Android tablet and someone in South Korea on their computer."

“There have always been technical walls between players of different platforms,” says the firm's CEO Gary Gattis. “Now, people are free to play on the device they choose with anyone, anywhere, anytime, whether they are at home or on-the-go.”

Pocket Legends was released in April 2010 and Star Legends was released earlier this year. Thanks, GameInformer.
