Epic's Tim Sweeney to be inducted into AIAS Hall of Fame

The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences has announced it'll induct Epic co-founder Tim Sweeney into its Hall of Fame at DICE next year. Sweeney, who will also give a talk at the event for the first time, is the 16th person to go into the Hall of Fame, joining Will Wright, Shigeru Miyamoto and last year's inductees the BioWare doctors, Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk. AIAS president Martin Rae said the group was "honored to add Tim Sweeney to our Hall of Fame. His unrelenting and innovative work on behalf of developers and gamers has created the imaginative games that help to drive the success of our industry."
