Keighley: The Last of Us VGAs unveil to be “in-game”
Geoff Keighley’s promised the unveil of the massive Sony exclusive “you won’t believe,” called The Last of Us, will be an in-game affair, not a CG effort.
Keighley, the main organiser of the event and host of GameTrailers TV, has said an “amazing developer” is handling duties on it.
“We’re working with Sony on a massive announcement that no one is going to see coming,” he says in the video you can see below.
“I’m shocked every day that none of this has leaked out, but we’ve got something absolutely mind-blowing that we’re going to unveil from Sony at the VGAs.”
Clicking on the game’s teaser site shows a date of December 7. Guess what day it is today, Gringo?
Not to mention, the US PlayStation Blog has started teasing by changing its background images to something that appears to be from the game itself (Via GAF).

Well it’s always good to know that its gonna be ingame. Nothing sucks more than anticipating a reveal, and then it turns out its just a shitty CG trailer.

That comment added nothing to the topic at hand lol. Actually, the PS3 had all of the exclusive titles this year. The build-up and execution for almost all did quite well, leaving a capitalizing on the void left by its competition. This “Last of Us propaganda” is a way to fuel that drive. There is an article on http://gametilldawn.com/204/gcwii that pretty much states that a console’s sales doesn’t equate it being worth it; that accessibility promotes a console’s hype machine. The speculation around this title is good for the industry, regardless if we speculate correctly or not.
