Gore Verbinski's studio working on XBLA Kinect title

Director Gore Verbinski's Blind Wink Productions has signed on with Microsoft to create content for Xbox 360 and various other MS platforms, which we assumes means WP7 and PC.

First up is an XBLA title designed for Kinect and slated for late 2012, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

“Audiences consume content very differently today," said Verbinski. "As an idea house, we at Blind Wink are looking forward to our partnership with Microsoft. Their various platforms give us access to new methods of distribution, allowing us to extend into emerging markets and connect more directly with the audience."

“Xbox 360 gamers can look forward to innovative and creative games from the mind of Gore Verbinski that explore new and exciting gaming territory and take full advantage of our platforms," added Microsoft studios GM Matt Booty.

The new venture will bring "cinematic qualities" to the Blind Wink and Microsoft collaborations.
