Lego makes inevitable Minecraft connection, deal in progress
Mojang has announced a collaboration with Lego to deliver a Minecraft brickset based on Lego community members’ ideas, with royalties going to charity.
“Minecraft is about placing blocks to build anything you can imagine in the virtual world. You can build anything you imagine with LEGO bricks in the physical world. Minecraft and LEGO were meant to be together,” Mojang wrote. Hit up the Lego website for a few inspirational images.
Thanks, GameInformer.

I thought bout this idea a while back. I’d rather this than minecraft, an entire world you build from lego, choose your blocks, colours etc, Endless amount of fun.

And LEGO went and made LEGO Universe, when they could have gone and made a Minecraft styled game…
