Quick Quotes – How EA influences BioWare’s development

“A lot of people might assume that the way that EA might be an influence on BioWare would stem from a purely executive level, but that’s untrue. You might expect some collaboration with DICE (to do with sound) for example, but in terms of online features we liaised with the Need For Speed guys. Working with teams like that is as easy as making a phone call.”

– BioWare creative director Casey Hudson, speaking to Games Master, via CVG.

Bioware was good before they were bought by EA.

Mass Effect 1 was awesome and then they were bought by EA and did mass effect 2 who was just … good.

Thats how they influenced Bioware.

The Dr.’s of Bioware actually had connections with EA and they agreed to the buy out. Also Bioware was working on Mass Effect 2 long before the buy out. Check your facts.

Regardless of who started what when, I think ME2 was miles better than ME1 and it is probably one of my most favourite games ever.

DA2, however, sucked donkey balls.

Almost a shame how Microsoft lost the Mass Effect lisence. If only Mass Effect 1 has sold better they wouldnt have given it to EA :/
