Dragon Quest X "communication" screens are depressingly ridiculous

Screens of online communication in Dragon Quest X, Square's upcoming Wii and Wii U MMO, have confirmed this morning that getting out of bed to report on stuff like this is the video gaming equivalent of crying, alone, into a Cadbury's "Heritage" biscuit barrel.

The images, viewable on Siliconera, show some green monkey thing showing his ass to the camera and a devil man emoting like a three year-old child in a terribly rendered red environment.

Players will be able to either use the Wiimote's d-pad or a USB keyboard to talk.

Seriously, if I write any more about this it's going to make the day difficult. Hit up Wikipedia, should you care.
