Silent Hill: Book of Memories screens are suitably horrifying
IGN has posted a new batch of screenshots for Silent Hill: Book of Memories. The Vita exclusive is played from an almost isometric, quasi top down perspective, and is the first in the series to include multiplayer. This is the first we’ve seen of it outside of Konami’s E3 events and gamescom. Book of Memories is expected in early 2012.

Xbox Live Fall update now available to be previewed
Those who signed up to preview the Xbox Live Fall update can do so now, according to emails containing a 25 character key sent out to various 360 owners. The key included with the preview works on up to three Xbox 360 consoles, allowing for further update testing for additions such as Bing Search, Voice Support and the “Metro” design. It should be noted, that the update won’t be visible for 3-5 days after entering the code, and the program will be ongoing. So, be sure to check your email’s in-box. Thanks, Neowin.

Modern Warfare 3 video walks you through multiplayer modes and match customization
Activision has release a behind-the-scenes look at Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3′s multiplayer modes and match customization. In the video posted below, Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer previews two of these two new multiplayer modes: Kill Confirmed and Team Defender. The team also talks about how private matches have been “significantly enhanced” to allow players to create fully customizable game modes to share with friends and the community. Modern Warfare 3 is out next week on November 8 for PC, PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360.

Those who drink Dr Pepper or would just to earn free stuff, can net themselves some dogtags and a multiplayer skin for Battlefield 3 via a promotion going on at the moment. Bethesda provides a glimpse into the making of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Bethesda has released a snippet of its behind-the scenes video Behind The Wall: The Making of Skyrim which is included with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Collector’s Edition. In it, the development team chats about how it went about making the fifth installment in the series different from previous iterations, and how sometimes it was the “little things” in the game which were obsessed over the most.
